Racing Ahead

Welcome: Racing Ahead May Edition

The sun’s high in the sky, the turf’s lush and the Flat is back! We’ve a great issue previewing early summer treats in store.

But before we put the excitement of the jumps out to pasture we can reflect on a brilliant climax to the Hunt highlights, hoping many of you followed ‘ glorious 33/1 winning tip last month.

Irish raiders are eying these shores again with Aiden O’Brien’s classy pair Twain and The Lion In well backed for and ‘s top prizes. Our pundits offer plenty of tips, hints and clues as the speed stars line up.

Meanwhile Graham Buddry, happily recovering after a freak accident sidelined him last month for the first time in many years, is back in style with an emotional recollection of the amazing Mill Reef.

And among many other top tales, we’ve got Rolf Johnson’s revealing insight into the continuing saga of dodgy jumps starts, Dave Youngman and Richard Eagle scouting about for the off-track tales.

We’re bubbling while we all go Flat out for a glorious season!
