Jockey William Buick is convinced Jack Hobbs can overcome a tough draw and secure Qipco Champion Stakes glory on Saturday.
The market leader has been drawn 12 of 13 runners but Buick remains upbeat on Jack Hobbs' chances of securing a win at Ascot this weekend.
“The good thing about Jack Hobbs is that he's not a complicated horse. He'll stay the trip well and has a good mind on him,” the jockey is quoted as saying by the Racing Post.
“We can't do anything about the draw so we will have to get on with it but he's pretty versatile as regards tactics.”
The ground at Ascot is currently described as good to soft on the straight course, with the round course good to soft, soft in places ahead of Saturday's showpiece event.
