Part-owner Ritchie Fiddes has revealed Moviesta could be set for a tilt at the Betfred Sprint Cup at Haydock on September 5.
The five-year-old recorded a good victory at the Curragh on Saturday in the Renaissance Stakes, finishing ahead of second-place Toscanini by three quarters of a length.
It was the first win for the bay gelding since clinching the 2013 King George Stakes at Goodwood and it is a welcome return to form following some disappointing runs recently.
The options are now wide open for Moviesta and Fiddes has revealed the meeting at Haydock next month is a possibility, whilst hinting at other potential meetings.
“We’d be happy to supplement him for Haydock if we think that is the right race, we’ll see how he is nearer the time,” he said. “It’s just great to have him back. Whether he’ll go for the Abbaye again I’m not sure, but we’re keen on Dubai and trying him on dirt.”
