LATIN VERSE looks a handicap good thing today at Newbury and I just hope it isn’t too good to be true.Ralph Beckett’s charge looked a progressive type when winning at Lingfield earlier in the year but has since found soft ground at Nottingham against him and he also managed to find himself in deep waters at York last time out so will appreciate the marked step down in class. With all the concessions in his favour I will be disappointed if he is beaten today.
