An interesting novice chase to kick off three days of top quality horse racing on Merseyside. Key form lines usually come from the Marsh Novices chase at the Festival which Gordon Elliott’s Samcro won. I would suspect that Elliott will keep him in Ireland for the remainder of the season rather than bring him back to these shores. Having said that, his two best days have come in this country so he may be tempted.
