BEN`S TIPS of the Day 24.6.20

As you can probably tell from my previous
this week, I am punting rather speculatively at the moment. It's always a hard
week after a big and this week certainly has the after the Lord
Mayor's show sort of feel to it. With that said though I did think Northern
Lyte shaped with plenty of promise yesterday and I would be interested in
seeing her dropped back to a mile. I wouldn't give up on Ralphy Boy Two either.

            Today
I am speculating further and I'm trusting that a trainer of Ralph Beckett's ability
would not have placed HEART REEF into
the trial had he not thought plenty of her. She disappointed at
Lingfield which was her second consecutive below par effort. But if you say she
didn't like the heavy ground at and she didn't handle Lingfield,
which are perfectly reasonable excuses, then you could rate her a smashing each
way bet today at . She is impeccably bred and will, I'm sure, prove to
be better than a mark of 89. Hopefully by 5.55 tonight if we're lucky.

            Tom
Marquand can put his disappointment behind him, if he hasn't already done
so, with another win at tonight. He rides Tom Ward's BALGEES TIME in the 7.25 and his mount
looks to have an obvious chance. Just touched off at by a higher rated
rival last time out, he is dropped in grade here and should be going close with
a repeat performance.

Haydock 5.50 – Heart Reef – 0.5pts e/w

Windsor 7.25 – Balgees Time – 1pt win
