Burke bullish over Newmarket contender

Trainer has revealed that Lord Of The Lodge is definitely in the frame to run in the 2,000 Guineas, if it goes ahead.

“Lord Of The Lodge would be a candidate for the 2,000 Guineas,” he was quoted as saying by the Racing Post. “He's in great form. He's a Dandy Man and he's not slow but there's a lot of stamina on his dam's side.”

Lord Of The Lodge won at on his last outing, beating Amarillo Star by a length-and-three-quarters in the 6f contest, and are positive about what the future holds for the three-year-old.
