Potters Corner was crowned the Virtual Grand National winner after the actual race was cancelled because of the coronavirus outbreak.
Potters Corner, an 18/1 chance, finished ahead of Walk In The Mill (16/1) in the computer-simulated race, while Any Second Now (10/1) was third, ahead of Tiger Roll, the pre-race favourite at 5/1, while leader Aso fell in the latter stages to let others in.
If the real thing had gone ahead, Tiger Roll was bidding to become the first horse in history to win the Aintree showpiece three times on the trot but Gordon Elliott's charge was denied the chance, although the trainer has said he is already planning to return for that third shot at National glory next year.
Burrows Saint finished fifth in Saturday's virtual race, during which bookies did take bets and profits were given to NHS charities.
With all horse racing in Great Britain off until at least the end of April due to the pandemic, it was left to the CGI race, which is run every year, to fill its slot and it was televised live by ITV.
The 40 horses deemed the most likely to take part in the real event this year lined up and using the latest technology and special algorithms the race was simulated and broadcast.
