Frankie Dettori is recovering well from his fall at Great Yarmouth and is expected to return to the saddle on Sunday.
The 46-year-old had to withdraw from Tuesday?s opening race on the Norfolk coast after becoming unseated from his mount Tivoli in the parade ring.
The length of Dettori?s absence was unknown but it appears he will be back racing again on Sunday with Shutter Speed in the Prix de Diane at Chantilly, while he is also scheduled to ride at Royal Ascot later this month.
Dettori?s agent, Ray Cochrane, confirmed he has been to see a physio and they feel he will be fit enough to head across to France.
“I saw him last night and he was his usual chirpy self,” Cochrane said. “His arm is sore. He's been to see the physio who just wants it to settle down for a couple of days before he gets to work on it. He should be fine to ride Shutter Speed on Sunday, anyway.”
