Owner-trainer Joe Murphy has revealed he is thinking about supplementing Born To Play for the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby.
The five-year-old has shown great promise in his three starts so far and now connections are considering plans for the son of Born To Sea later this summer.
Having come close at the Curragh on Sunday, Murphy is now considering a return for Born To Play in the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby on July 1.
He was quoted by Sky Sports, saying: “We're more than likely going to supplement him. He might go for a race like the Nijinsky Stakes at Leopardstown first.
“If you look at his form – he was fourth first time out and he should have won the second day. The fourth and sixth behind him that day have won since.
“He could be a very good horse. His dam is a full sister to Holy Roman Emperor.”
