Walsh hails retiring mare

has hailed the ability of and says she will take “some replacing” following the announcement of her retirement.

The nine year old, owned by Rich and trained by Willie , has been retired after failing to make it to the track last season but the mare will be remembered fondly by Walsh.

She replaced injured stablemates and at late notice in the 2016 , and proceeded to make all the running and Walsh is pleased she has a happy retirement ahead of her.

“She was a brilliant mare. We didn't have much luck with her this year, but she's sound and well and retiring to the breeding shed – to me sadness would have been if something happened to her,” he told UK.
