As a result of the recent heatwave, the horses were out very early in the mornings so trainers could get the work done before it got too hot. It is particularly hard on the smaller yards as they don't have the luxury of such facilities that the larger yerds enjoy with their equine pools, spa facilities and water treadmills. I must say how well everyone has managed to cope in the extreme heat.
