What a climax to the July action and there’s barely time to catch breath as August promises a glorious holiday-season climax.
There are so many stars on show this summer has been bright as the sun in the heatwave and with juddering York clashes lining up this month – plus so much more – it should be no surprise crowds have been flocking back to the tracks.
We’ve been doing our best to keep up at Racing Ahead in the face of challenging deadlines (as always!) and our August issue offers a bevvy of expert opinion looking bnck and forward with eyes to the side as well.
We are pleased to introduce our new greyhound section in this issue, highlighting development of a brand new track at Dunstall Park – the first truly positive news for dogs fans for decades after tragic closures of so many iconic venues.
What’s good enough for tennis promises a lush, fresh start for the greyhounds and we-re out of the traps already watching the Wimbledon grass court stadium developers lay down this state-of-the-art facility.
There is something for all racing fans in this August issue and we hope the weather holds (with a welcome drop of rain but bright skies on race days) to light up the action and fill pockets with winnings.
