AGE MATTERS:

The five-day Glorious Goodwood meeting comes a tad earlier this year – running from Tuesday July 29 through to Saturday August 2.

But with the Stewards’ Cup on the final day this gives us the chance to get the race into this month’s August edition.
There are stacks of other highlights at the Goodwood meeting – including the Sussex Stakes, Nassau Stakes and Goodwood Cup, but the Stewards’ Cup has a loyal following too and is a race the bookies also love – being a 20+ runner handicap sprint.
