Ben`s Tip of The Day

Ben Morgan

BABY SAGE didn’t get any further than the first at Ludlow on her hurdle debut where she unseated her rider but there was enough market confidence in her to suggest connections expected her to go well. I think this race is of a similar quality to that and I’m hopeful she can keep rider in tact today and gain the victory. She was a smart bumper mare as her Warwick victory suggests and looking at her in the paddock at Ludlow she does remind me of the stable’s classy mare, Nina The Terrier, as she is quite compact, small but clearly talented. Hurdling will be the name of the game for her which is why I think she is good enough to brush these aside today.
