I couldn't believe my luck last night as I caught TIDE TIMES at 9/1 and HEAD TO THE STARS at 12/1 who both go to Ludlow today for the 4.10. It is only a small field so I may be greedy to be playing two but at those prices it certainly looks worth it to me. Both have fantastic course records and both would have undoubtedly had this race in mind for some time. I expect both to be a lot shorter come the off today and I am hopeful of getting some sort of return from the race.
I run the syndicate who own Your Band and he runs in the 5.20 at Ludlow today and it doesn't look the finest bit of race planning on my behalf. There are plenty of unexposed sorts here and we certainly look up against it on our second run back after a long break.One of those unexposed sorts is AMRONS SAGE and I expect him to be very hard to beat off a mark of 115. His run at Ludlow over 2 miles earlier in the season looks very good form now and his run at Sandown last time was full of promise before he clattered the last. This step up in trip will really suit him and I can't not see him battling out the finish today.
