The 5.05 at Wetherby looks a really competitive event and there isn’t much between the whole field. My eye is drawn to CONSTANCIO who looks really well weighted with Peter Kavanagh’s 10lb claim taken into consideration. Donald McCain is clearly trying to make use of such a claim whilst it exists as proven with See The Sea who won easily last week at Ludlow. Kavanagh is a very capable jockey who is stealing 10lbs at the moment. The horse itself is a very useful performer in it’s own right and comes here race fit which definitely hands him an advantage over some of his rivals today. With a 5 runner field I expect to be tactical and it may pay to be up with the pace which is where I expect Constancio to be.
