Racecourse is set to be a sea of orange and black on Saturday August 7 after it was announced that QTS is to return as sponsor of the iconic Ladies Night at the track.

The QTS Group is one of the UK's leading rail contractors and has long been a major supporter of Ayr Racecourse and until 2018 sponsored Ladies Night for five years. Last year, the company had the honour of backing the Ayr for the first time.

Now, QTS Ladies Night returns to Ayr this summer and will live up to its reputation as one of the leading social occasions in the calendar, with the company's famous orange and black branding once again adding colour to the racecourse.

QTS was founded by MD Alan McLeish in 1992 and provides a vast range of engineering infrastructure and specialist services across the rail industry.

The company's very first sponsorship at Ayr Racecourse was in 2012 and, as well as Ladies Night and the Ayr Gold Cup, has lent its name in the past to the Scottish – Scotland's premier hurdle race – which it sponsored from 2013 until 2018.

David Brown, Managing Director of Ayr Racecourse, said: “It is exciting to have QTS return as sponsors of Ladies Night, which they were associated with for many years.

“This is a special fit and once again I am thrilled to welcome Alan McLeish and his team back to Ayr Racecourse for what promises to be another wonderful occasion.

“Sponsors are the lifeblood of and in these particular difficult times have never been as important. I know I speak on behalf of the entire team at Ayr when I say we are looking forward to another fun filled QTS Ladies Night.”

Alan McLeish, Managing Director of QTS Group, commented:

“As a local business, we have always taken pride in our relationship with Ayr Racecourse, and it is a terrific opportunity for us to showcase our brand.

“The last year has been tough on the racecourse and racegoers across Scotland and everyone is in need of some joy and colour in their lives. QTS is always delighted to be involved with the team at Ayr Racecourse and to take on the first big race night of the year since restrictions lifted, is a privilege.

“The QTS Ladies Night is always a great experience and we are looking forward to seeing some faces, old and new, make a return to the races for another memorable event.”
