Trainer Karl Burke has revealed Dandalla is ready to run at Newbury in April in the Dubai Duty Free Stakes.
The three-year-old was last seen in September when finishing fifth in the Juddmonte Cheveley Park Stakes; a race eventually won by Alcohol Free for Andrew Balding.
Dandalla had won all three starts before that disappointing performance, winning on debut at Newcastle before then claiming the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot.
Burke’s filly then won the Duchess of Cambridge Stakes at Newmarket, but the Leyburn handler believes his charge can return to winning ways on April 17.
He told reporters: “She heads for the Fred Darling at Newbury, or what was. That has been the plan for a long time, and at the moment, she’s bang on course for that.
“She’s wintered really well, done everything we’ve asked, and I’m very happy with her.”
