Blue Point wins Kings Stand

BLUE POINT was the equine star of Royal Ascot as he clocked an impressive 114 when winning the King’s Stand Stakes.
He was defending his title and made no mistake, crossing the line more than a length in front of Battaash who again failed to show his best form at the track. That said, on 110 he was only 1lb below the figure he clocked when winning at Haydock on May 25.
So rather than crow about the Charles Hills runner, let’s pay tribute to Blue Point who won fair and square. ...
