YESTERDAY’S HEROES
Due to other commitments I had hardly seen any of the early races of the 2001 Flat season and knew of only a few of the contestants that would be lining up at Epsom for the Derby.
Catching up as best I could, I paid attention to a recording of a horse I knew little about at the time but a few minutes later I was certain I had found not just the winner of the Derby but perhaps a horse for the ages.
