Golden Whisky looks a good thing at Fakenham today after bolting up at Ludlow last time out but I wouldn't be rushing to back him at 6/4 given his previous inconsistent profile. I'd much rather take a chance on CORRANY in the same race who must have more to give off a mark of 123.
Nicky Henderson hasn't had much luck at Fakenham the past 12 months but still boasts a 37% strike rate on all time records so I think it's always worth noting when he sends his runners to the Norfolk track. It's also worth noting that this horse survived the Trevor Hemmings sell off last summer which again must suggest connections think this horse has a lot more to offer. He needs to start proving his reputation on the track with a few more victories but I wouldn't be surprised if he turns the corner soon and at 8/1 I'm willing to take the chance.
