The 2.06 at Stratford looks a fierce handicap on paper but I'm not too sure how many of these will be tuned up for today. The favourite Templehill looks an obvious sort but has never shown any sort of form on soft ground and is therefore worth opposing. I'm siding with TOWN PARKS who loves it soft and could be ready to strike for a yard who have enjoyed plenty of success in the past few weeks. Richard Johnson's presence in the saddle is a big plus and a 5th placed finish in last year's race also gives me confidence as this year's race would be much weaker than that I think. He should have every chance.
