Nico de Boinville is set to return from injury in time to partner Might Bite in the Betfair Chase at Haydock on Saturday.
Noel Fehily has spent this week with the Nicky Henderson-trained nine-year-old ahead of the latest head-to-head with Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Native River.
However, De Boinville has been passed fit from the thumb injury suffered in a fall at Chepstow on October 30 which has kept him on the sidelines.
It sets up another intriguing battle with last Boxing Day’s King George winner Might Bite looking to avenge his defeat to the Colin Tizzard-trained Native River at the Cheltenham Festival in their reunion this weekend.
