Sea Of Grace set for Ascot

Maureen Haggas believes Sea Of Grace is capable of challenging in the Coronation Stakes at Royal later this month.

The three-year-old recently linked up with trainer having previously worked under John Oxx in Ireland.

Haggas guided her to a fifth-place finish in the Bell Gwyn Stakes at , while she also went close in the French 1000 Guineas when only beaten by Precieuse.

The trainer?s wife, Maureen, admitted they are hoping to make the trip to Ascot on June 23 but only if the conditions are favourable.

Maureen Haggas said: “Hopefully she will go to , but she needs the rain as she wants soft ground.

“If we don't run her at Ascot, there are plenty of opportunities throughout the year for her.

“I think she might stay a bit further, but we will stick at a mile for the moment.”
