Jockey Jamie Codd will ride Cause of Causes in the Random Health Grand National on Saturday and he is looking forward to it.
Cause of Causes won the Cross Country Chase at Cheltenham last month and Codd is expecting big things of him again this weekend at Aintree.
He said on ITV4's Opening Show: “It was a great win at Cheltenham and I'm really looking forward to him.
“He's a great jumper, he's just an idle horse so I don't want to get back too far. He does the stay the trip, it's just having him close enough at the right point.”
Meanwhile, Doctor Harper has squeezed into the final 40th spot in the field following the omission of Pendra. The nine-year-old takes David Pipe's entries to four for this year's event.
