History aims to repeat at Ascot

Saeed bin Suroor insists that History will compete in next month's Qipco Champion Stakes at if he continues to impress.

The Godolphin-owned colt has been working well on 's Limekilns gallops and and the handler wants to see more of the same before letting him loose at Ascot once again.

“He is talented, he has had lots of things go wrong with him but so far he is doing well. He worked on the Limekilns this morning and worked nicely,” said Bin Suroor.

“I need to see something more from him in his next few pieces of work before we make a decision if we go to the Champion Stakes. If we are 100 per cent happy then we will go.”
