Connections are looking at the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe for Jack Hobbs' return after his long injury lay-off.
The four-year-old has made only one start this year and was pulled up in the Group 2 Jockey Club Stakes at Newmarket back in April.
The son of Halling was diagnosed with a fracture to his pelvis and immediately shut down for the busy summer period.
Much was expected of Jack Hobbs after his triumph in the 2015 Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby when he beat Storm The Stars by five lengths with a superb display at the Curragh.
John Gosden's charge is now back dong light work and, with no thoughts of retiring the Godolphin colt, the Newmarket handler already has one eye on the French showpiece at Chantilly later in the year.
