Monday’s racing at Leicester, Windsor and Towcester

Newbury was lit up by a terrific 1962/1 five-timer by Ryan Moore on Saturday, with Integral (fourth) his only mount not to finish first past the post on a fantastic day's racing. Crystal Zvesda was the fifth and final winner and arguably the most promising of the quintet and was cut to 8/1 (from 25s) with to follow-up her weekend's success in The at Epsom. Moore is Leicester bound this evening with five excellent rides and Occult (7.45) fancied to see him return to the winners' enclosure once more. The well-bred Oasis Dream colt has been well held in three runs in maiden company however should relish the forecast rattling quick ground and can continue the excellent form of the yard accordingly.

Moore can double-up aboard Accra Beach (8.15) in the 6f Maiden, hopefully defying his wide berth in stall nine. Roger Charlton's gelding was been second in a brace of warm maidens at Windsor and Newbury last term and looks to have found a suitable engagement to make it third time lucky under the former Champion Jockey.

Moore's visit to the Leicestershire track means there are some excellent rides going at Windsor, with Champion Jockey Richard Hughes capitalising more than most He rides Jam Jar (7.35) for red-hot trainer Hughie Morrison in a traditionally warm maiden over the extended mile and looks to boast outstanding each-way claims. The well-bred daughter of Duke of Marmalade is related to plenty of winners and whilst perhaps not of the ilk of last year's winner, and subsequent G2 winner, Bragging she looks good enough to get the job done at the first time of asking.

David Lanigan's Warrior of Light (8.05) made a pleasing reappearance last time out at and can build on that further in the feature handicap over a mile and a half. The selection shed the maiden tag belatedly last term at Ffos Las on very fast ground and should have conditions to suit and should be stripped fitter to add to that tally this evening.

Richard Johnson has made tremendous start in his quest for a first Jockeys Championship and was cut to 4/5 (from even money) with BetVictor after riding winners at Bangor and Uttoxeter on Saturday. Johnson sits out this afternoon's meeting at , which gives , the biggest danger to his potential 1st Jockeys, chance to catch. He rides Silverman in the Novices' Chase on the card however Tom Scudamore, the 9/2 third favourite for the Title, looks set to score aboard Vieux Lion Rouge (4.40). David Pipe's 6-y-o was impressive over timber winning three times in his debut season over hurdles and despite disappointing this season looks a class above and is a confident selection to make a winning debut over the larger obstacles.

Scudamore has formed an excellent partnership with trainer Nigel Hawke yard and with the yard in excellent fettle Fashion Icon (5.10) should go close from an opening mark of 93 in the Conditional Jockeys Mares' Handicap Hurdle. The filly has improved on all three runs in the spring, third last time out at behind Philip Hobbs' 128-rated Sternrubin, and with the aid of a first-time visor she should be competitive under Tom Bellamy.

We put up Kim Bailey's By The Boardwalk (4.10) when scoring last week at the track and the 7-y-o looks a good thing to go in again under a 7lb penalty dropping back in trip to two and a half miles. The Presenting gelding has improved with each run over fences and should follow-up last week's 12l romp accordingly.
