John Anthony puts his stopwatch on the speedsters

MISTER FISHER (80) clocked the best time of the month over fences when seeing off Eldorado Allen (79) in the Grade 2Silvinaco Conti Chase at Kempton on January 15.
It was very much a return to form for Nicky Henderson’s eight-year-old who showed none of the jumping issues that have stopped him winning at the highest level.
He is likely to go for the Ryanair Chase at the Cheltenham Festival now and the suspicion is he’s come up short at that level. But this was a good performance and he goes there as a contender.
