In terms of profitability and activity, the 2023 Flat season hasn’t been the most successful for me and as it comes to a close I certainly won’t be sad to see the back of it.
A couple of big near misses at Royal Ascot proved costly both to my PL and also my Racing Post Naps table position. I urge readers to trawl back through previous months’ copies to save me regurgitating the same painful stories, but it is true, had they had swung the other way then the season could have worked out much differently.
