Morris Dancer: Robert Cooper muses on rabbit hold, fond memories and track hopefuls

Just a few minutes surfing the net can lead you down even deeper rabbit holes than Alice encountered in Wonderland.

Here is a brief synopsis of a recent burrow: whilst investigating the form of a James Horton trained 2yo named SIRIUS A who was about to run (and win) at Leicester, I noticed a horse that finished behind him on his debut at Newbury called MORRIS DANCER, owned by Godolphin and trained by the Gosden team.
Morris Dancer, I thought, that rings a bell, but not one of those bells resonating on village greens rung by skipping men and women waving hankies.
