Time flies when you’re having a good time, and since hanging up my Sky Sports Racing microphone a year ago, I haven’t had a second to contemplate digging my spuds or bundling my golf clubs into the back of the car.
Not that life has been so frantic that either pastime – digging a pastime? – has been scrubbed from the ‘to do’ list.
