RIVER DANCE: Paul Ferguson shares his pick of the best chances for late summer glory

Paul Ferguson looks ahead to York’s Ebor Festival and beyond, picking out the horses he expects to make a major impact before the end of the summer.

We had some mixed results in relation to those covered in last month’s feature.

Firstly, Klassleader didn’t even line up in the Northumberland Plate then disappointed when taking his chance in the rerouted Old Newton Cup.
Constitution River was a positive, however, winning the Eclipse and he remains very much the pick of the Ballydoyle 3yo colts for me.
10 furlongs is his trip, so he will surely now be aimed at York’s Juddmonte International Stakes on August 19.
