Andy Newton’s ITV Racing tips from Aintree and Doncaster – Saturday 7th November 2026

See Andy Newton’s ITV horse racing tips from Aintree and Doncaster on Saturday 7th November.

In total, there are EIGHT ITV Racing on Saturday across the two tracks, with the action on the ‘free-to-air’ channel starting at 1:15pm.

At Aintree, we’ve a good jumps card with some big names on show – notably No Drama This End, who takes on the exciting Talk To The Man from the Dan Skelton yard.

While at Doncaster it’s the final day of the flat turf season with the competitive November Handicap the big puzzle to try and solve.

No horse has even won the race more than once – so can last year’s winner Castle Cove, or the 2024 hero Lord Melbourne be the first?

So, let’s get going – you can see Andy Newton’s 1-2-3 ITV Horse Racing tips for ALL the ITV races from Aintree and Doncaster on Saturday.

Andy Newton’s Doncaster ITV Racing Tips: Take The Worry Out Of The November Handicap With Stressfree

14:10 Doncaster – Virgin Bet Every Saturday Money Back Wentworth Stakes (Listed Race) 6f ITV4

POATAN (e/w) is a tentative pick in this 6f Listed race, with many chances – including the in-form Coul Angel.

This George Scott runner should find things a lot easier than the G1 Champion Sprint he contested last time – but was still a respectable 7th that day to Almeraq.

Before that he’d win well over 5f at Haydock and last August beat Division over this 6f trip at Windsor.

His only run here at Donny was also a good one – when third in a sales race to Calendar Girl last season.

David Egan rides and the first-time cheekpieces are also on this time to try and eke out more.

Of the rest, Karl Burke has won two of the last four and sends ELLUSIVE BUTTERFLY to post.

She’s won two of her last three and last time excuses can be made with that run coming on heavy ground.

We know she stays further than this 6f trip too and could be ridden with that in mind.

🥈ELLUSIVE BUTTERFLY
🥉Coul Angel

14:45 Doncaster – Virgin Bet Daily Price Boosts Irish EBF Gillies Fillies’ Stakes (Listed Race) 1m 2f ITV4

WADOODA gets the nod here in what looks a very tricky and unappealing race – with many chances.

But a lot of these are on recovery missions with something to prove – notably the Gosden runner I’m The One, who was a beaten odds-on favourite last time.

So a chance is taken on something that’s lesser exposed – step forward the Owen Burrows-trained Wadooda, who has only had two runs.

The last of those was a nice win at Kempton and even though that form has been knocked since (2nd Wosta beaten at odds-on on Monday), there could be more to come from this Dubawi filly.

She’s also up from 1m to 1m2f here and back on the grass for only the second time and Burrows also brings a decent 31% SR with his Donny 3yolds (5-16) to the table.

Of the rest, the consistent Revoir can get involved too with jockey Rossa Ryan 1-2-2-2 on this Ralph Beckett filly. And the yard have also won 2 of the last 6 runnings.

🥉I’m The One

15:25 Doncaster – Virgin Bet November Handicap (GBBplus Race) 1m 4f ITV4

LORD MELBOURNE and STRESSFREE are the two against the field in another tricky renewal of the November Handicap.

The former took this race in 2024 and despite being 7lbs higher, is at least 6lbs lower than when 6th 12 months ago.

Like when he won it, connections have booked a useful claimer too – this time Harry Vigors, to take off 5lbs.

While he seems to be hitting form after a close 3rd at York last month (of 18). He’s up 2lbs for that by that is offset (and more) with the Vigors claim.

He’ll also be bidding to become the first ever horse to win this race more than once.

Another horse that has run okay in this in the past is Stressfree – for trainer David O’Meara, who won this in 2014.

Yes, he’s not an easy horse to win with – heading here 0-14, but having run 5th in 2025 is now back rated 8lbs lower.

He also might want further these days, but was a close 2nd at Ripon over 1m4f on quick ground in April.

While he’s been given 2 months off since his last run and has often run okay fresh.

Pole Star, who won the last race Stressfree ran in (5th) also won on Wednesday to boost the form – plus his overall Donny form is not too shabby 5-4-7-3-2-2.

So at around 33/1 he looks overpriced to me if able to get enhanced placed offerings, with Kieran Shoemark also catching the eye in the saddle.

Last year’s winner Castle Cove is also back for more rated 8lbs higher, but hasn’t been seen since.

🥇LORD MELBOURNE
🥈STRESSFREE
🥉Castle Cove

Andy Newton’s Aintree ITV Horse Racing Tips: Talk To The Man To Have All The Chat

13:15 Aintree – William Hill Best Odds Guaranteed Handicap Chase (GBB Race) 2m ITV4

KADASTRAL looks the safest option here on what could be a big day for Dan and Harry Skelton in Liverpool.

This 6yold lost his way a bit over hurdles last season – after starting off well, but has had a break and is now over fences.

A wind op in the summer can be expected to help too and with rivals looking thin on the ground, connections look to have found a good starting point.

But his jumping will need to be good as he’s taking on Javert Allen (9 runs fences) and CD winner Sans Bruit (26 runs fences).

The last-named is from the Paul Nicholls yard and the horse like it here – being 2-3 at Aintree. And is also well-handicapped rated 9lbs lower than his last win.

However, the niggle for me is that he tends to do best in the Spring – backed up with 8 of his 9 wins in March or April.

🥇KADASTRAL
🥈Sans Bruit
🥉Javert Allen

13:45 Aintree – William Hill Molyneux Hurdle (Grade 2) (Formerly Registered As The Elite Hurdle) (GBB Race) 2m 1f ITV4

ALEXEI is the pick to win what looks a toss-up really between him, Mydaddypaddy and the Gordon Elliott runner Mange Tout.

Yes, Alexei has to give 4lbs away to Paddy and 8lbs to Mange, but we know the Joe Tizzard yard are in top order at the moment.

Harry Cobden has also been booked to ride with Brendan Powell on the sidelines after a nasty fall on Monday at Plumpton.

Oh, and Cobden has won the last four runnings of this race.

Alexei was a good winner of the Greatwood Hurdle last season and Kingwell Hurdle at Wincanton and despite being a bit out of his depth in the Champion Hurdle (4th) and Aintree Hurdle (3rd) – still ran fair races.

Mydaddypaddy was 3rd in the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle and away from Lossiemouth is one of those to the fore in the Champion Hurdle market.

But was also turned over here at odds-on on Boxing Day in the Formby Novices Hurdle here.

Mange Tout, for Gordon Elliott, is certainly no back-number either after her good win here in the G1 4-Y-O Juvenile Hurdle in April but is still rated 20lbs lower than Alexei.

🥇ALEXEI
🥈Mydaddypaddy
🥉Mange Tout

14:25 Aintree – Boodles Rising Stars Novices’ Chase (Grade 2) (GBB Race) 2m 4f ITV4

TALK TO THE MAN is the pick to land the spoils in what looks a fascinating race, with No Drama This End sure to have his supporters too.

But with only a pound between them on the ratings, the Skelton horse is taken to improve past the Nicholls runner – having impressed the last day at Worcester.

That win was his first over fences, but jumped well to beat a fair sort – Klimt Madrik by an easy 4 1/4 lengths.

With this horse also a former Nicholls inmate, then it would be a bitter blow to the former champion trainer too – but with that recent run, then match fitness and jumping is more assured.

Whereas, No Drama This End is back from 199 days off and even though he’s sure to be well tuned up, he’s also not jumped a fence in public.

Those with him, however, will lean to Nicholls loving this race – winning it 8 times in the last 19. Whereas Skelton’s only win came came 2024 with Boombawn.

Of the rest, Taurus Bay was a horse I liked a lot last season and won well here over hurdles – he can follow the main two home.

And looks a horse to note as the season moves on.

🥇TALK TO THE MAN
🥈No Drama This End
🥉Taurus Bay

15:00 Aintree – Pertemps Network Handicap Hurdle (Pertemps Hurdle Series Qualifier) (GBB Race) 3m ½f ITV4

OUR GUIDE is one I’ve been following for a while from the Jamie Snowden yard – especially now upped in trip.

I think he’s been crying out for this 3m 1/2f trip after staying on well in his races over 2m4f recently – backed up when a nice winner over 2m6f at Stratford in May.

He gets in here with a featherweight of just 10st 7lbs and ran another blinder (3rd of 17) last time at Chepstow.

The form of that race looks solid too, with the 2nd (Perseus Way) and 7th (Washington) winning since.

While the 12 Take No Chances was a close 3rd in the G2 Bet365 Hurdle last weekend and even Ike Sport, who was pulled up, won at Plumpton on Monday.

On a mark of 125, connections will also need him to do well here if they want to make it into the main event at Cheltenham in March.

Of the rest, Idem was 5th in 2025 and back just 4lbs higher. French Ship is a horse I also liked last season but lost his way a bit and is still 10lbs higher than his last win.

Then Harbour Lake won this in 2024 and likes Aintree but the old-boy (10) is still 11lbs higher.

But, despite not always the most fluent at his hurdles, Our Guide is the call to ‘lead’ them home.

🥈French Ship
🥉Idem

15:35 Aintree – Play Lucky Stable With William Hill Handicap Chase (GBB Race) 2m 4f ITV4

JOSH THE BOSS can call the shots in the final ITV race at Aintree on Saturday.

This Twiston-Davies runner looked in need of his first run back at Wetherby last month, when 3rd (but placed 2nd).

He’s a course winner here at Aintree too and is down a pound for that run too.

Regular rider Jamie Neild rides and claims his handy 7lbs, plus this time of the year seems a good time to catch him.

Backed up with 5 of his 6 career wins coming in October or November.

Of the others, the Skelton entry Boombawn will be popular.

Boombawn was 6th in that same race Our Guide was 3rd in – so if he goes okay in the previous race, this will frank his chance.

Last season’s Peter Marsh Chase winner Imperial Saint, who likes Aintree (3 wins), is another to note.

He was last seen running 13th in the National and has gone well fresh in the past too.

But Josh The Boss is the call to ‘lord it up’ in the final of this week’s ITV horse racing tips.

🥇JOSH THE BOSS
🥈Imperial Saint
🥉Boombawn
