Warren Greatrex has joined Fairplay as an ambassador for the 2026/27 Jumps season, with the multiple Grade 1-winning trainer set to provide regular updates from his Lambourn yard throughout the campaign.
Greatrex, whose stable has produced stars including Cole Harden and La Bague Au Roi, will feature in a series of blogs and video content, offering an insight into life behind the scenes at his yard.
Greatrex said: ”Fairplay is a really good concept, and I was really taken by it.
”As soon as I met Billy, I thought ‘wow!’, I just love his enthusiasm. I’m very excited!”

Partnership
He added: “I think from our side, the partnership will allow us to showcase the yard, and through regular blogs and content we can show exactly what we do, from riding out, showing people how to swim horses and treadmilling.
“We’ve got an excellent young team here and I’m really pleased that with Fairplay we can showcase this.
“I’m very confident that we can grow alongside Fairplay – we’ve got a really nice bunch of young horses, as well as established ones, and I think with this partnership we can grow together.”
Fairplay founder and managing director Bill Gowing said the partnership reflected the company’s commitment to supporting British racing during a challenging period for the sport.

Natural decision

Fairplay began as a social peer-to-peer betting platform in 2023 before launching its sportsbook following the award of a sportsbook licence.
The company also has an on-course presence, taking a pitch at Glorious Goodwood for the first time this year, and plans to acquire pitches at Cheltenham and Newbury for the 2026/27 National Hunt season.
