2p or not 2p? That’s not really the question at the Placepot Club because, obviously, every member has the freedom to choose their own perms and you’re bound to get individuals who wander happily way off field.
It happened the first week Dymchurch Robbo and I sent our numbers and then our selections for Carlisle on Saturday, May 30, a week after the chaos at Haydock, which we don’t count.
Anyway, we sent a perm of 288 selections at 2p a time, costing £5.76 between us, with a bit extra put to one side for the possible/ probable Quadpot.
