FUNNY how things stick in your head, in racing as well as everywhere else. I can still picture as a kid the strangely-named Copper-less (anyone else remember the horse – back in the 60s I think, not more recent namesakes?) jumping the last to victory at Fontwell eons ago.
The example I’m using here is more recent and not so vivid but well worth a column and an attempt to make use of it mainly for future Pots.
