The Cheltenham Festival is over for another year and it was hard not to have some sympathy with the comments of Jessica Harrington in the immediate aftermath of the Gold Cup who described the ground as appalling.
That said there were some wonderful winners and performances with Altior, Presenting Percy, Footpad and Laurina personal favourites and an admirable winner of the Gold Cup in Native River.
