When you consider all the great horses that have come out of Ireland it’s astonishing that one not so much “flew under the radar” but was almost totally slated and ignored for so long.
Hurricane Fly, a son of Montjeu was bred in Ireland as a potential superstar on the flat, closely related to the likes of Hurricane Run, Camelot and Authorised as well as many other Classic winners and top class horses, yet his fate was far removed from expectation.
