HAGGAS THIRD CLASS IS GOLD: John Anthony on Haggas’ numbers

William Haggas has been operating at the top level for decades, so the most interesting angles are those backed by serious sample sizes rather than a handful of winners.

 

One of the strongest is his record in Class 3 company: 192 winners from 721 runners, a 26.6per cent strike-rate and 73.13 points profit to SP. His favourites in that grade are even more potent, winning 114 of 271 starts for a 42.1per cent strike-rate and 23.01 points profit.
