MGHEERA - Ed Walker’s flying filly looks sure to play a big part in August’s feature Sprint race, the Nunthorpe.
Having been withdrawn at the start at Royal Ascot in the King Charles, she never got a chance to shine in what I think would have been ideal conditions for her.
Connections sent her over to Ireland to try and gain some compensation in the Group 2 Sapphire Stakes but she ended up stuck on the wing giving away crucial lengths to a tough, battle hardened three year old who made all of the running.
