The price has collapsed dramatically since last night but I do like the chances of EMPIRESTATEOFMIND today at . I was sweet enough on him in the Lincoln but he looked to tie up in the final furlong after travelling with plenty of zest and he faded into a respectable 7th. Having progressed all through last season I can’t see why he can’t improve again this season and if he does it will only be a matter of time until he lands a big handicap. It looks a sign of confidence that John Quinn brings him down to Newmarket today and his race fitness could give him the upper hand.
