I think LAC DE CONSTANCE could well be worth chancing again now dropped back in trip to 2 miles. Dan Skelton's novice looked a serious chasing prospect earlier in the season but his upwardly mobile profile has been somewhat tarnished in recent runs after he disappointed at both Exeter and Sandown. There are potential excuses on both appearances with the combination of good ground and the extra distance not being ideal for him so the drop back to two miles on soft ground would seem the smart move at this stage. If he bounces back to his form earlier in the season then he wins this.
