The Kerry National is always a good indicator that the Jumps season isn’t too far away and this year’s edition certainly whets the whistle. I quite fancy EARLY DOORS who looks primed to run a big race. Joseph O’Brien’s charge won the Galway Plate in 2021 and that success plus a few other good efforts in staying handicap chases shows that he is clearly suited to the test that a race like this provides. His form figures don’t look all that great but a lot of those efforts are better than the bare result and I would suggest that he has been laid out for today so maybe don’t read too much into them.
