It is the first day of the Ayr festival today and it looks set to be an interesting 3 days of action. The shrewdies amongst us may have noticed FAYLAQ shaping well in recent runs and he is now down to a mark which he should be winning off. Last time out at Doncaster he cruised into the race but was denied a run at a crucial time which cost him effectively. He has form over further which should stand him in good stead here as Ayr can be a stiff finish and if he is in with a shout a furlong out I would be hopeful of him outstaying his rivals. 12/1 looks good value.
