As we move into the heart of September, and nearer October, the horse racing focus switches back to Newmarket, the home of UK flat racing. First up for track known as ‘HQ’ is the three-day Cambridgeshire Meeting, that is staged between Thursday 22 to Saturday September 24. There are many top-class races to look forward to over the three days, that include the Royal Lodge, Cheveley Park and Middle Park Stakes, but it’s the ultra-competitive Cambridgeshire Handicap that is the main ‘bookies race’...
