The Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh looks an above average renewal this year but I think it's going to take a real smart one to get past BRADSELL who has looked a little out of the ordinary in his first two starts. Archie Watson has spoke so highly of him in the lead up to this race it's hard not to get excited about him. He looks like he can travel with anything but as we saw at Ascot he can also stay the trip very well. He's a short price at the moment but I wouldn't be surprised to see a drift closer to the off as the Ballydoyle boys put their money down.
It looks clear that GIVE IT SOME TEDDY is now back in good form after two promising runs. Perhaps unsuited by the positional bias last time out at Thirsk last time out he should be better suited to Redcar, a track he gets on so well at. Ground should suit also and as 9/2 shots go he looks pretty solid.
