SAIGON is bred to be a little bit better than a mark of 75 and I hope Marco Botti's 4 year old gelding can go some way to proving that today. Only making his debut earlier in the year, this 4 year old is clearly well thought of, otherwise connections may not have persevered with his career.
He got up for the first time last time out at Salisbury and a rise of 2lb looks very fair. The stiff Sandown finish will suit and I am hopeful of a big run from a horse who could yet have plenty more to offer.
