I had to give my head a good wobble before I put up LOCK’S CORNER today but I saw enough last time out to suggest his time is not too far away. Jonjo O’Neill’s charge has dropped a handy looking mark and the return to a decent surface today may allow him to capitalise on that falling handicap rating. He travelled into the race at Kempton last time out quite sweetly but once the taps were turned on he couldn’t quite cope with the softer conditions and the wheels began to spin. At his best he would be a bit better than these today and I fancy him to show it today.
